Project background:
In October 2024, a new customer from Costa Rica’s industrial electrical industry contacted Swllift through online channels to inquire about related products and procurement plans for articulated boom aerial work platforms and scissor lifts. The customer is an end user and an intermediary, and plans to use them for the company’s own use and market expansion respectively.

Customer needs and procurement plans:
This time the customer’s needs are clear, and plans to purchase:
●1 14-16m articulated boom aerial work platform (for the company’s project construction)
●1 14-16m scissor lift (for leasing or selling to its customers)

The customer has no special customization requirements for the equipment, but is more concerned about product quality, operation safety and transportation delivery cycle, and hopes to adopt CIF San Jose transportation terms to ensure that the equipment arrives smoothly in Costa Rica.

Cooperation details:
●Country/Region: Costa Rica, Central America
●Customer identity: End user and intermediary
●Industry attributes: Industrial electrical
●Purchasing equipment: 14-16m articulated boom aerial work platform + 14-16m scissor lift platform
●Quantity: 2 units
●New customer: First purchase of Swllift equipment
●Payment method: T/T
●Transport terms: CIF San Jose
●Shipping port: Qingdao Port

Communication time node:
●First contact: October 5, 2024
●Confirmation of plan: October 6, 2024
●Confirm order and prepare for shipment: February 4, 2025

Project challenges and solutions:
During the project promotion process, the customer did not have a customs clearance agent in Costa Rica, which caused the payment and delivery process to stagnate. The Swllift project team actively assisted and took the initiative to help the customer contact a reliable local customs clearance agent, and coordinated the communication between the two parties to ensure that the customs clearance issues were smoothly resolved. The project entered the normal process again, effectively ensuring the timely delivery of the equipment.

Customer Feedback
The customer highly recognized Swllift’s product quality, professional services and proactive response capabilities, and especially thanked the company for its assistance and resource support in customs clearance issues. The customer said that they will continue to purchase Swllift aerial work equipment in the future and plan to further expand the Costa Rican and Central American markets.
