Successful Case: Electric Scissor-type Aerial Work Platform for Saudi Arabia Customer

Mr Awad ALHAJJ is a project consultant for a leading EPC contractor in Saudi Arabia. The contractor has over 25 years of experience specialising in various sectors such as infrastructure, district cooling plants, construction and has successfully completed many prestigious contracts.Mr Awad ALHAJJ acted as an intermediary in procuring the required aerial work equipment for the company.

On 9 October 2024, Mr Awad ALHAJJ made his first enquiry through swllift.com for a SWGTJZ1012 electric scissor-type aerial work platform with a maximum platform height of 9.8m and a maximum working height of 11.8m. Although this was his first time using this type of product, Mr Awad ALHAJJ wanted to ensure that the equipment purchased would meet the high standards required of an EPC contractor.

After receiving the enquiry from the customer, we responded quickly and provided a detailed quotation on the same day. After further communication, Mr Awad ALHAJJ raised a few key requirements: firstly, the colour of the equipment had to be beige; secondly, he wished to obtain a certain price discount; and lastly, the customer was very concerned about whether or not the equipment would have Saber certification for export to Saudi Arabia. These requirements reflect the importance that EPC contractors place on equipment quality and compliance.

After many rounds of communication and adjustment, we successfully reached the final contract on 27th October 2024, the payment method is T/T, the delivery method is CIF, and the products will be shipped from Shanghai port to Dammam port. The success of this co-operation not only meets the customer’s needs, but also further strengthens the trust relationship between us and the EPC contractor.
