45 ft Scissor Lift Delivered to Colombia

In early August, a long-time client from Colombian contacted SWLLIFT with a clear requirements. Last year, they had purchased a 6 m scissor lift from SWLLIFT. After our first collaboration, this customer have developed strong trust in both our product quality and service. So he reached out to us immediately this time. Finally, he selected SWLLIFT’s 45 ft scissor lift. This equipment is larger than their first purchase. It can offer significantly greater reach at height. With a platform height of 14 meters and a maximum working height of 16 meters, it greatly expands its capabilities for high-altitude operations.

Our Colombian client is a construction company specializing in large-scale industrial warehouse expansions and logistics hub development. They specifically required a taller scissor lift, and the 45 foot model meets the high-altitude work demands of most warehouse projects.

Stable Lifting

Safety System

During communication with the Colombian customer prior to shipment, we individually demonstrated the safety features of this equipment.  This 45 ft scissor lift is equipped with an overload alarm and a tilt sensor. To better ensure worker safety, our machine will trigger an alarm and automatically shut down when the platform is overloaded or tilted beyond a safe angle.

In the event of unexpected power outages or malfunctions at the site, our 45 ft scissor lift is equipped with dual emergency stop buttons. More importantly, the equipment features a manual emergency lowering system. In case of an unexpected power failure in the main electrical system, ground personnel can safely and smoothly lower the elevated platform back to the ground using the hydraulic release valve.

Our equipment is equipped with:

• Overload Sensors: Immediately lock the lifting function and trigger audible and visual alarms when the platform exceeds its rated load capacity.
• Tilt Level Sensors: Automatically prevent the platform from rising further when the chassis tilts beyond safe operating limits.
• Descent & Drive Motion Alarms: Emit warning sounds to alert nearby personnel to stay clear when the platform descends or the equipment is in motion.

Rigorous Inspection Before Delivery

Before approving the shipment of this 45 ft scissor lift to Colombia, it underwent a rigorous two-day test at our factory test site:

• Continuous up-and-down cycle test: Conducted a series of full-height up-and-down cycles to test the hydraulic oil temperature and the durability of the sealing rings.
• Braking and slope driving test: Tested the emergency braking capability under full-load conditions.
• Electrical safety interlock inspection: Ensured that each safety cut-off switch could respond sensitively.
